THIS IS 2021
For those knows me already, this is the time of the year i love most… the time of the year that my heart and my mind is full of moments and memories from the places i visit and people i met through my journey as a destination photographer…
For 2020 i used the word “gratitude” to describe my feelings about that year… and i am gonna use the same word for 2021…
I do not wanna speak about shooting weddings during a pandemic… we all faced difficulties for sure…
2021 was the year of unlimited love.
People wanna to travel, wanna to laugh, cry, touch, dance, scream like never before… gatherings were full of life…
I felt more connected than ever…
I witness weddings without music and i could not believed the joy and happiness everybody felt… i shot weddings under rain and i could not believed again the party moments we all shared… i shot weddings that couples did not had members of their families next to them… but again love was always there…
These days, every year i create a slide show… to say thank you, to all of you… for the love and the trust you gave me to be your photographer… A slide to welcome my future couples, the ones i am excited to share my journey as a photographer in 2022…
Through this slide you have a chance to see everything from my perspective… being a photographer i have to deal with problems like every job has… but at the same time i feel blessed…
The reason i feel that way is because of you… is not about the locations, is not about the perfect preparation of an event… is about the team is working behind to make your event special, is about the gathering it self, is about the magic that happens every time people come together to celebrate love…
Is not about being beautiful, or young, is not about looking sharp… is about feeling alive… feeling in love and be loved… is about the joy, is about feeling stressful, and how people using that stress to create something beautiful…
I am a storyteller, a documentary party animal… and i am trying to survive in a saturated market, going against trends, and not sacrifice everything for social media…
2021 was my 20th year as a photographer… and i am happy with still shooting all those years and pay attention to the small moments…
This slide show every year is not of the best images… but from the ones that usually will play b and c roles at your stories… with using these images, is my way to celebrate the year and make them precious for you… is like the decoration details that usually faces a wall… I am always thinking of them…
From me and my family i want to say THANK YOU… for everything… is more than being your photographer… is about making me feel welcome… treating me as one of your guests… making the experience for me, amazing…
Being away for so long from my wife and my kids, the best feeling is to come back home… and feel happy… this is the biggest present for them… and this is because of you…
Thank you for always thinking of me not just as one more person who works for you… you bring tears in my eyes every time… So Thank you all…
