Crazy Wedding Party in Mykonos
When you arrange a wedding shooting in Mykonos, you look for some very specific requirements: the couple should have the right mood and lots of energy… and of course they should be crazy enough and ready to feel the pulse of this vibrant exceptional island and become one with it.
Wedding in South France
Chateau de Castellaras
After all these years, I am still filled with awe and gratitude every time I have the chance to live the unique experience of travelling and working with my good friend and colleague Adam. I remember the moment we arrived at the hotel. It was raining. The doors kept opening and closing and one by one all the guests, the couples friends and relatives, got together, with their mood evidently unaffected by the weather. I can still see the scene: There are smiling faces all around me. I hear happy voices and lots of laughing. And the wet umbrellas close hastily, so that people can hug each other. I am fascinated not by Cannes, but by the way Florentinta and Peter welcome all those who have travelled here for their wedding. And I just feel that the next days are going to be simply wonderful!
Wedding in Tokyo
Yukari + Sachio
I could have written nothing about the trip to Tokyo and just let the pictures tell the tale. But travelling there with Helena for Yukari and Sachio’s wedding was something like a dream come true.
I will never forget the days and nights I spent with Daphne and Ben in Stockholm, walking in the unique city where they live, eating at their favourite places… It’s so beautiful and so deeply moving when somebody opens for you a window into their everyday life, allowing you to share moments that may appear simple but in reality are so full of magic…
Places to Go
One more set of images from my previous destinations I travel last years
Grace Ormonde backstage
I’m here for the backstage shooting of my friend Adam Alex for the cover of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine. It’s a beautiful morning in London. It might sound funny, but I personally find London cloudy weather fascinating –maybe because I know that in a few days I’ll be back in sunny Greece…
Wedding at Costa Navarino
Biby + Michel
This is a time in my career as a destination wedding photographer when I undertake very few weddings. Couples are no longer mere clients for me (maybe I have never seen them this way); now every couple I work with has a special place in my heart. In every story that I shoot, I feel not like an observer, but like a fellow-traveller… and a friend. And the freedom to take pictures only of what I love makes me genuinely happy.
Wedding in Santa Barbara
It all started with a Greek wedding… I travelled there as a friend… And when I left, with eyes full of tears, I had the feeling that these people were now family to me, if you know what I mean… What I lived with them cannot be described in a blog or shown in a slide show. Words are not enough to express my feelings.
